Sorabji Resource Site (SRS)

Works Ordered by Number of Pages

This page lists the titles of Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji’s works in ascending order of number of pages (a most important variable in his case), then in ascending chronological order when two or more works have the same number of pages. Below is a summary of the number of works in each page range, with an indication of the total number of pages. The ranges correspond to logical divisions with regard to Sorabji’s production rather than to strict (i.e., equal) categories.

The manuscripts of the four separate piano parts, indicated by a bullet () at the start of the title, are listed but excluded from the summary below, as they would alter the desired perspective.

The leading zeros are necessary for correct sorting due to the peculiarities of the JavaScript code used.

Click on a column heading to sort, then shift-click on other headings to sort on multiple columns.
Surround strings with quotation marks for specific searches. Refresh the page to revert to the initial order.
